Outside my sanctuary

by

As I gaze out of my sanctuary,

I see life moving rhythmically

To the beats of existential flow!

Humans, blinded,

Can perceive not

The source of the light

From which they originated

They can only sense up

Till the tips of their noses

And can only believe

What the human mind teaches them!

The piano tunes

From the abode of God play on

Yet, they are dimmed by the din of evil

As it keeps handing out

Temptations of all sorts

Humans love evil

And by doing so,

They feed its might and make of it

Their ruler!

As for me,

I see the days getting darker

And the songs that play in my heart

Getting more sorrowful!

The union of my soul

With the unknown power of mysticism

Is getting closer

My heart thrills

But, the tears that fill my eyes

Burn my soul into a story

That shall never get to be written!
